Ajay Bhumitra is the CEO of Saberpoint. He plays the role of Head Coach by setting the company’s vision and drives its growth plans. Ajay established Saberpoint in 1999 to provide technology solutions to the wireless distribution industry.
Ajay has been operating in the wireless industry since 1989, and over the years has been engaged in wireless solutions including Retail, Wholesale, Accessories Distribution, Device Distribution, Enterprise Sales and eCommerce. Ajay has cultivated a strategic understanding of, and high-level relationships with, the best carriers and manufacturers in the US wireless industry. Under his leadership, his companies have operated a very successful business supporting the wireless needs of enterprise clients including AIG, Bear Steans, Credit Suisse First Boston, Pfizer Revlon, Prudential and Societe Generale.
Ajay is an entrepreneur that has built a reputation as a highly effective M&A and turnaround leader who consistently shapes strategic direction, assembles high-performing teams, cultivates productive customer & vendor relationships, and increases stakeholder value.
Previously, Ajay worked at Coopers and Lybrand and Thomas Cook.
Ken Engel is the EVP of Saberpoint. He plays the role of Offensive Coordinator and provides senior level direction and leadership of sales and marketing initiatives to grow sales and profitability for the company.
He has been in the wireless industry since 1986, and specializes in working with enterprise clients to meet their wireless needs. Over the years, he has worked closely with companies including Pfizer, Prudential, Goldman Sachs, Bear Steans, Chubb Insurance, Deutsche Bank and Mercedes Benz among others.
Ken has extensive relationships with wireless carriers, manufacturers and distributors. Previously, he worked for McCaw Cellular as a Corporate and National Account Manager as well as sales & marketing positions with ITT, MCI, and Electro Components in varying facets of telecommunications, data communications and computer peripherals.
Gaurav Abroal is the COO of Saberpoint responsible for the strategy and operations in collaboration with the business unit heads.
Working in the IT industry for close to 20 years, Gaurav has played various roles in Federal, State and Commercial IT initiatives while working with customers ranging from small to medium organizations to Fortune 100 enterprise organizations. He has used his considerable experience to design and implement improvements to business processes, while identifying efficiencies in the current IT landscape. His foresight and knowledge of the field provides Saberpoint with vital direction in all strategic, sales, marketing and delivery operations in North America, India, and Israel. Gaurav excels at identifying client needs, and providing solutions and service offerings along with go-to-market strategies in partnership with Sales and Lead Management teams.
Previously Gaurav was SVP KloudData focusing on Sales, Marketing and Delivery in the Commercial, Federal and State IT engagements.
Bruno Leuzzi is the Presales and Finance Lead of Saberpoint. Bruno plays the role of Defensive Coordinator, and has overall responsibility for presales and project management at Saberpoint.
Bruno has been in the wireless industry since 1990, and brings to the table extensive experience with all aspects of wireless distribution and management. His knowledge of the industry and its operational realities play a large role in the identification and implementation of new business opportunities. Bruno specializes in driving strategies, initiatives, and processes that generate dynamic gains in financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Bruno previously worked with Comcast Cellular in Finance and Operations, and was a public accountant with Laventhol & Horwath.
Hanit Gyani is the Director Corporate Affairs of Saberpoint. She plays the role of Strong Safety and Chief of Staff, and is responsible for managing the Marketing initiatives at Saberpoint.
Hanit has been working in the wireless industry since 1999. Previously, she managed the HR strategy and legal oversight of the company, and successfully translates business requirements into financial, legal, and IT deliverables. Hanit has managed development, implementation and operations of an online distribution strategy, including an eCommerce initiative for the online sale and activation of wireless phones and services to consumers and enterprise clients, and was the Project Manager for custom eCommerce solutions built for enterprise clients including Pfizer and State Farm.
Previously, Hanit worked with Ernst & Young in Corporate Advisory Services.
